Identify Your Food Intolerances

If certain foods leave you bloated or uncomfortable, start by ruling out coeliac disease — it affects around 1 in 100 people in the UK and most don't know. It needs a specific antibody test, not an intolerance panel, and you must still be eating gluten when you take it.

Once coeliac is excluded, our IgG, IgA and IgG4 panels cover 96 to 240 foods, including Asian and plant-forward diets. At-home finger-prick kits, no GP referral.

Could it be coeliac disease or gluten?

Coeliac disease is an autoimmune reaction to gluten affecting around 1 in 100 people in the UK — and around 64% of them don't yet know they have it. Coeliac UK puts the average time to diagnosis at 13 years. These tests measure coeliac antibody and gene markers. They aren't a diagnosis: discuss your results with your GP, and keep eating gluten until antibody testing is complete, because removing it first can make the test unreliable. Not sure whether it's an allergy or an intolerance? Read our guide to food allergy vs food intolerance.

Coeliac disease is an autoimmune disorder triggered by gluten that can cause severe digestive problems. It affects 1 in 70 individuals who are mostly diagnosed in adulthood.

Which foods are triggering your symptoms?

If you react to foods but can't pin down which, our food intolerance panels screen your antibody response across a defined list of foods — a starting point for a structured elimination with your practitioner.

Choose the panel that matches your diet. The General 96 covers everyday Western staples and suits most people starting out. The Super Food Panel adds 48 more foods across seafood, nuts, tropical fruit, herbs and spices, and the Complete Food Panel is our broadest at 240 foods. If your diet is built around rice, soy and tropical fruit, choose the Asian panel; if it's plant-forward, choose the Vegetarian panel.

A larger panel isn't more accurate — it covers more of what you actually eat. Choose on diet, not on number. Every panel includes a Candida albicans screen and a Personal Rotation Diet Guideline. New to intolerance testing? Read our food intolerance testing guide.

Which antibody marker is right for you?

Every panel is available with the antibody marker that suits you.

IgG measures delayed-type antibody responses. It's our most popular marker and the right default if you're unsure. IgA measures mucosal, gut-lining responses, and is often chosen where digestive symptoms dominate. The IgG + IgA combination screens both in one order for the fullest picture. IgG4 is a specific IgG subclass, available on the General 96, 144 and 240 panels and usually ordered on a practitioner's recommendation.

These markers reflect your body's antibody response and exposure to foods. They're a structured guide for planning an elimination and reintroduction diet with a practitioner — they're different from IgE allergy testing and don't diagnose a food allergy, intolerance or coeliac disease on their own.
